Belly of a Whale

This song is so neat, Keith like's it and I think it is pretty cool and a good way to spread the stories of the Bible. The past couple of Sunday's at church we have been talking about the story of Jonah and how he disobeyed, was thrown over board and was in the belly of a whale and then how he did what was right. Our band at church sang this song right before the sermon began. It was really cool.
To hear this song scroll down and click on "Belly of a Whale" at the bottom of the left hand column.

Enjoy!

Two Year Anniversary

October 1st marks our two year anniversary and like last year we went to the Chattanooga, Tennessee area and had a great time. The main reason for us coming back to the same spot two year's in a row is for the good food from Canyon Grill www.canyongrill.com. It is located in Rising Fawn, Georgia and has the best filet and rack of lamb ever. It is kinda like us and Canyon Grill are meant to be. Being that last year we got the same thing and had the same waitress, Connie. Keith said that he wants to go somewhere different next year but we will see. The first picture is of our cottage that we stayed in which was in Cloudland Canyon State Park http://www.gastateparks.org/net/go/parks.aspx?locationid=38&siteid=5&static=1 . The second picture is the view from a rock that you could walk out on that was about 3 minutes from our cabin down a hiking trail. It was very gorgeous walking up and down the trails and looking at the wildlife and all the trees.

Hay, Hay and Hay

Thursday, Keith and I laid out hay in the parts of our yard that doesn't yet have grass. We got two big rolls of hay and went to town laying it out. I hate that job so much, the first roll had stickers all in it so what do you know they cut me all up. But the job got done without a trip to the er for my cuts and the the dirt is now covered in hay and grass seeds. So hopefully in January it will be nice and green.

It's Fall

Fall is finally here! This is the best time of the year if you ask Keith and I. We can now eat dinner outside and not worry about sweating to death. I just love fall.

My Mom and Aunt Margaret came over and talked to me while I put out our outside fall decorations. Just looking at the pictures above this is the best season and I guess that could play a part in why Keith and I married in October. It is so beautiful and our anniversary trips will always be gorgeous.

I hope that everyone enjoys fall as much as Keith and I do.

Happy Fall

Card Night

Tyler, Angie, Candi and Keith
We had a game night tonight that went great. We played Phase 10 and I lost. Then Keith and I learned how to play a card game called Scum. It was real fun and pretty easy to catch on to. I lost at that to, I guess you could just call me a loser.

Our Outdoor Cat

Tonight was the first time that we have been able to get close enough to the cat to get a good picture. This cat we have been calling Aubie's boyfriend but we are not really sure about that term now. I guess it would be like saying your daughter is dating a bum, which Aubie is better than that we think. But we are taking this cat under are wing and we feed it every night. So what do we think we should name her/him?

Jennifer and I are FAMOUS

Angie and Jennifer
Last year we participated in "Bunco For Breast Cancer" which is sponsored by St. Francis Hospital. This was a very fun event and we had tons of fun. The brochure is out for this years event which is going to be held on October 2nd at Peachtree Mall and we are on the web page that talks all about the event. So we are FAMOUS, I can't believe it.

If you are interested and want to know more information on this event and how to help prevent breast cancer please go to https://www.sfhga.com/index.asp?pageId=759
