My Sweet Husband

On the way home from work Keith and I was discussing dinner plans. I wanted to go out to eat and he wanted to pick something up so I wouldn't have to cook. Well, I won and we went out to eat. But, needless to say he had other plans in mind which is why he wanted to stay home.

When I arrived home and went into the bathroom Keith had written a very sweet note on the mirror. It said:

"Hey Baby Girl,

I hope you enjoy your bath. Sit back and relax a while. Surprise !!

I Love You"

The bathroom was so nice it had candles everywhere and my new read sitting beside the tub. He really did surprise me with that one. When we got home from having a great meal at Aspen Mountain Grill in Pine Mountain I really enjoyed my candle lite bath.

Flea Market Company

I forgot to mention that we had company at the flea market. A friend from work came out and set up a table next to ours. Terri didn't sell a lot I guess kinda like us. But we had great company and good conversation. Terri thanks for joining us and I hope your first flea market experience was a good one.

Dinner Company

(Keith, Pat and Larry)
Keith's parents came over for dinner tonight and they didn't know it but also a game of good ole' Phase 10. We had fun teaching them how to play and watching as they caught on so quickly. We didn't finish the game but don't worry it will be finished. The results are by phase's:
1st Keith completed 7
2nd Angie completed 6
3rd Larry completed 5
4th Pat completed 4
By points (which don't really matter):
1st Keith 385
2nd Larry 475
3rd Angie 490
4th Pat 635
I am glad to report that I am not the full time looser. I can't wait to hear about your game results and give you the results of this game.

Flea Market

Keith and I decided to go to the Lee County Flea Market Saturday morning. We loaded the trailer up Friday night and got to be early. The alarm went off at 4:45am to get up and get on the road. It took us about 20 minutes to get there and when we did arrive there was only one table left (the grey one above). I am glad that we didn't sleep in anymore than we did already. It was still dark and we unloaded everything and set the stuff out. It was around 6:45 when we were finished and there was people walking around with flashlights looking at our goodies. They were all grandpa's looking for tools and manly things and we didn't have any of that, so we made no sales to the flashlight men. Things were sold slowly throughout the morning and afternoon. We have stuff that didn't sell. One of the highlights of us staying till 2pm was we say someone get arrested for not paying child support. Of course he was a Alabamians with no shoes on. They experience overall was great. We even were told we had the best junk out of every table.

Aubie

Aubie is our second daughter that I received for Christmas of 2006 from Keith. She is about 2 years old. Keith got her from the humane society when he picked her up she was a fixed girl cat that had been there since October. But when I took her to get declawed we were told she was a fixed boy, but since she is a cat and can't hear us we still call her Aubie for the Auburn Tigers. We aren't really football fans but if we are cheering on a team it is Auburn more than likely. Back to Aubie...When Keith got her home he asked his dad if he could keep her in there garage until he gave her to me, well they had to take her out of the cage he brought her home in right? Well, need less to say he was all cut up from my sweet little cat scratching him. But, the funny part is that when I picked her up and wrapped her in a towel to carry her home she was purring. I tell Keith all the time he is the best cat picker-outer and I am really glad that I got her. She was house trained from the minute I put her down. That is only a few good stories about our daughter. More to come later!

What A Day

Yesterday was such a great day for Keith and I (so was today). It started off with a peaceful six mile bike ride at the RiverWalk along the Chattahoochee River. We saw tons of beautiful tires along the river bank. The river was really low because they are moving the rocks around to try and make rapids for a white water rafting venue to get started. Then we went to Cooper Creek Park for a Subway picnic lunch followed by a nap and then dinner at Oscar's Steak and Seafood in Warm Springs, Georgia. It was about a 30 minute drive but well worth it. Keith is really getting good at wining and dining me and I am enjoying it.

Our Bible Study

On August 9th Keith made the great suggestion that we start doing a bible study each night after dinner. So with that said we gathered all of our study material and now everyday that Keith is at the station we each write out a lesson for the two nights he will be home. It is really a great way for us to bond with each other and also grow in our relationship with Christ. This is also helping us to be at the same place in our walk with the Lord. So far we have talked about prayer, tithing, faith, trust and morale benefits of wisdom. We never know what each other is writing about so it is something that we really look forward to.

Angie's Birthday Part 2

Happy Birthday To Me, Happy Birthday To Me!
Today I had a second birthday party with Keith's family. After a good church service we went to his parents house and had some home cooked food. Mrs. Pat fried chicken and Brandi made corn casserole. There was more food, I just named a few to get you drooling. After we ate I opened presents and got some new cooking items and stock. I know that stock is a weird birthday gift but I am planning for the future. We also went swimming and had a good time.

Angie's Birthday Part 1

Keith, Angie, Dad, Margaret and Mom
Angie's 24th Birthday
We all went to the Fuji Japanese Steakhouse to celebrate
Angie's Birthday. We had a good time and outstanding food.
The cook made Angie a birthday train out of onions and made
it flame up. Then he made her blow the flame out as if it were a
candle on a cake, that was pretty neat. After we ate the employees
there at Fuji presented Angie with a birthday desert and sang her
the " Happy birs days two shoes" song to here, you may know it
as "Happy birthday to you". We had fun and some good laughs.

Miss Piggy

Here is our first born daughter. She is a miniature potbellied pig that I received from a friend in November of 2005. She originally came from the animal zoo in Pine Mountain, Ga. At that time she was only 2 weeks old and weighed about 3 or 4 pounds. We started off feeding her by bottle twice a day for about 3 months. She lived in the house with us until May 2006.
We had to put her outside because she was starting to rule the house. She is a very unique and smart pet to have. I wish that she could still be inside, but Keith has the final say. She love to run around in the yard and dig up grass with her snot. The picture above was taken in April 2007 and she was 1year 6 months old and weighed around 30 pounds.

Happy Birthday Amy

Candle Light Picnic

For those of you who don't know, I love everything about the word PICNIC. I like being outdoors, the picnic baskets (I have 15) and the easy meals. With that said Keith took me on a picnic Sunday night at Blanton Creek park. The picnic featured a nice chandler with citronella candles, hamburgers and chips and even a quick dip in Lake Harding. The night was great and we had a good time enjoying God's great creation.

Our New Fence

Keith and I have been working hard the last two weekends to add a new decorative touch to our property. I am happy to say the construction is over. The next thing to do is put down pine straw and plant a few plants. This has been something that I have been envisioning since November and finally it is done. If I would have known a fence would be this hard it might not be where it is today. Yes, I did really help. I screwed all the screws in that are holding the rails up, and helped Keith with a two man gas powered auger that drilled all the holes out. It was really hot but we stuck with it, took many breaks and now it's done.

Welcome to our Blog

Well, today starts a new way for people to learn what's going on in our lives. This is a really cool site that my friend Candi told me about. We both feel that this is something that will keep everyone in the loop and active in our lives even if we don't talk to them often. We hope that you check back soon.
