Hay, Hay and Hay

Thursday, Keith and I laid out hay in the parts of our yard that doesn't yet have grass. We got two big rolls of hay and went to town laying it out. I hate that job so much, the first roll had stickers all in it so what do you know they cut me all up. But the job got done without a trip to the er for my cuts and the the dirt is now covered in hay and grass seeds. So hopefully in January it will be nice and green.

It's Fall

Fall is finally here! This is the best time of the year if you ask Keith and I. We can now eat dinner outside and not worry about sweating to death. I just love fall.

My Mom and Aunt Margaret came over and talked to me while I put out our outside fall decorations. Just looking at the pictures above this is the best season and I guess that could play a part in why Keith and I married in October. It is so beautiful and our anniversary trips will always be gorgeous.

I hope that everyone enjoys fall as much as Keith and I do.

Happy Fall

Card Night

Tyler, Angie, Candi and Keith
We had a game night tonight that went great. We played Phase 10 and I lost. Then Keith and I learned how to play a card game called Scum. It was real fun and pretty easy to catch on to. I lost at that to, I guess you could just call me a loser.

Our Outdoor Cat

Tonight was the first time that we have been able to get close enough to the cat to get a good picture. This cat we have been calling Aubie's boyfriend but we are not really sure about that term now. I guess it would be like saying your daughter is dating a bum, which Aubie is better than that we think. But we are taking this cat under are wing and we feed it every night. So what do we think we should name her/him?

Jennifer and I are FAMOUS

Angie and Jennifer
Last year we participated in "Bunco For Breast Cancer" which is sponsored by St. Francis Hospital. This was a very fun event and we had tons of fun. The brochure is out for this years event which is going to be held on October 2nd at Peachtree Mall and we are on the web page that talks all about the event. So we are FAMOUS, I can't believe it.

If you are interested and want to know more information on this event and how to help prevent breast cancer please go to https://www.sfhga.com/index.asp?pageId=759

Blessing

Jennifer and Baby Cason
Well, today was a very special day for me. My best friend Jennifer delivered a little baby boy at 2:43 pm today. He weighed 7 pounds even and came in at 20 1/4 inches long. I was there through the delivery and it was such a blessing. If you read Psalm 127:3 NIV it talks about children are a reward from him. I tell you he is truly not only a reward but also such a blessing as well. He is so thankful that he has such great parents as Britt and Jennifer and a good Aunt Angie.

What A Weekend

Well, Thursday and Friday I was off work just in case Jennifer went into labor and she didn't but it was a good thing that I was off because I was sick with a head cold that kicked my but all weekend. I am glad that I wasn't needed at the hospital because I could not make it. Last night Keith and I finally gave in and went into town and bought a vaporizer which really cleared me up and I had a full nights rest. But that is not the only thing that we bought we also got the good ole' stuff that you put on your chest. So Keith was talking to Aubie (our cat) and he was apologizing about the bedroom smelling like a nursing home. Of course she doesn't know what a nursing home smells like but it was funny. And me on the other hand looked like I belonged in one. I had this white cream all on my chest and neck and had to sit up until it soaked in. But I sleep good and so did Keith and Aubie.

Vines

Today when I went outside to feed Miss Piggy I was looking at our Gardenia's and noticed that there was a pretty purple flower growing beside it. So I walked closer to notice this wasn't a pretty flower but a invasive vine that is inter twinned with all of my gardenia. So when I get back from town I am going to have my work cut out for me trying to get the vine all the way out of my bush without messing it up.

I hope everyone has a good day !

Keith's Birthday Part 1

Well, tonight was the start of Keith's birthday celebration. My family took him out to eat a good ole' steak and to wish him a Happy Birthday. The food was great and we had a good time. We talk about a lot of different things and ate good.
